We began offering quality hosting services to WSI eMarketplace customers in May 2002. But, in June 08th, 2003 we signed a Data Center Partnership agreement with WSI and became an official hosting partner (DCP) for the WSI eMarketplace.

In early July 2003, we completely converted our environment to Microsoft Windows 2003 Server and began offering and providing Web and software development services for Microsoft .NET architecture.

In May 2004, we completed a long (since October 2003) and quite expensive process of re-architecting our hosting and development environments to improve overall systems performance and increase systems security:

  • Both development and hosting environments support a completely redundant systems architecture leveraging off of several mirrored multiple CPUs Pentium™ Xeon™ servers, hardware clustering technologies, several external RAID 5 disk arrays and high quality CISCO™ switching equipment
  • Hosting environment is supported with fully scalable load balancing
  • Local APS power backup modules and on/off site portable diesel power generators support

All these improvements resulted in only 2.1 hours of down-time for our hosting environment for the year 2004 instead of 17.5 hrs as allowed by a guaranteed up-time 99.8%.

Also in May 2004, we substantially upgraded two very vital elements of our hosting offering:

  • iMail antivirus software which dynamically scans all incoming and outgoing Emails of all Email accounts hosted within our hosting environment
  • statistical report software, LiveStats 7.0, which on top of many extremely valuable reporting revisions,  now  supports keyphrase analysis and keywords analysis
  • we are also, on a limited basis and upon special request, providing support for Urchin 5 and WebTrends statistical reports

In late June 2004, we purchased a new sophisticated telephone system which allows more flexible operation of our business and much better support of our customers. As a result, since early July 2004, a 7/24/365 Critical Issues Support line has been established for all Critical Issues pertaining to live sites hosted in our Data Center.

In late October 2004, we installed a hardware/software based SPAM firewall system with enhanced Antivirus software support which is currently blocking approximately 65,000 SPAM Emails and isolates 500+ viruses daily from our customers Emails.

Completed in early February 2005 connectivity upgrade of our premises with fiber optics cables allowed us to substantially increase our bandwidth to a full T3 internet connection offering.

Due to the growing demand from our European eMarketplace members for localized hosting services since January 2006 we begun to service them from our newest Data Center located right in the center of the 'Main European Internet Hub' in London (Docklands), UK.

After extensive upgrades to our London (UK) hosting environment completed in September 2006 in November 2006 we executed a long planned 'Big Move' from our Vaughan based hosting Data Center to a completely new Hosting Data Center in downtown Toronto, Canada to provide you with what matters most; optimal quality of service.

As with our UK Data Center in London, our New North American Data Center is located over the main Internet 'hub' and at the same 'physical address' from where several Financial Institutions and large multinational corporation service their clients globally. The clear advantages of such a prime location are:

  • Extreme security access/control measures
  • Multiple Internet connections connected directly to the backbone of the Internet
  • Exaggerated fault tolerance measures like: fire prevention systems, redundant power supplies complemented with redundant Diesel generators, multiple and redundant HVAC systems

While planning for the new Data Center our priority was to dramatically improve the quality and level of hosting services offered to all of our clients. Our new systems not only are completely redundant within the new Data Center, but have redundant internal and offsite backup procedures, and are running over multiple ISPs with a much larger bandwidth complemented with a much faster Internet connection.

In addition, we are in the process of developing a completely new and quite sophisticated Hosting Control Dashboard which will provide control and monitoring features for hosting websites to clients.

One might call it a ‘Natural Progression’ of this type of business, however we would like to call it ‘Taking Care of Our Customers’.
